Even a great garment stops being great the moment it doesn't fit. A suit you love with sleeves half an inch too long. A rented tuxedo that's baggy through the waist. A dress shirt that fit two years ago and doesn't anymore. None of that means the garment is wrong. It means nobody's actually fitted it to you.

I alter clothing from any brand, including designer and couture pieces, and I treat a $40 shirt with the same attention as a $4,000 suit. Hem, taper, resize, rebuild, whatever the garment actually needs, not the fastest fix that gets it out the door. Most of what comes through the door falls into three categories.

The most common repairs and resizing, done right the first time. If it's fabric and it doesn't fit, I can probably fix it.

Almost Fits

A suit that almost fits is the most common thing I see. Off-the-rack or bespoke from somewhere else, if the shoulders are right and everything else is close, I can usually get it the rest of the way there without touching the parts that already work.
